About the Role This is not a traditional sales role. The Senior Business Development Representative is a boots-on-the-ground growth operator. Your job is to open doors, build referral relationships, and secure high-value meetings with decision makers who control large commercial portfolios. You'll be face-to-face with property owners, asset managers, attorneys, CPAs, and brokers. You'll represent Paramount in person, gather real market intelligence, and create opportunities that senior leadership and valuation teams convert. If you need a script, this role is not for you. What You 'll Do Strategic Door Knocking (High-Value Targets Only) * Visit large portfolio owners, REITs, private equity groups, and major CRE operators * Deliver clear, value-based conversations tailored to the asset and owner profile * Identify decision makers, gatekeepers, upcoming tax events, and portfolio pain points * Log clean, actionable notes in Salesforce for leadership follow-up Build Referral Networks Establish referral relationships with: * Law firms * Brokerage offices * Accounting firms * Financial advisors Identify cross-sell opportunities across: * Regular roll appeals * Supplemental appeals * Base-year corrections * Entity transfer and ownership issues Track referral activity and maintain active partner communication Lunch-and-Learn Execution * Schedule and coordinate weekly Lunch & Learn sessions * Manage invites, logistics, presentations, and attendance * Attend and professionally introduce Paramount's value proposition * Convert attendees into follow-up meetings with leadership or valuation staff Brand Ambassador Work Represent Paramount at: * Industry events * Local business meetups * Chambers of commerce * CRE associations * Carry yourself with confidence and professionalism that elevates the brand *Field Intelligence & Lead Development Gather real-time intel on: * Ownership changes * New construction * Distressed assets * Market shifts * Identify high-probability appeal opportunities in the field * Relay insights directly to Sales and Valuation teams Appointment Setting With Decision Makers * Secure meetings with asset managers and ownership decision makers * Ensure meetings are properly prepped with context, notes, and objectives How Success Is Measured (2026 KPIs) * Quality doors knocked per week (targeted, not random) * Lunch-and-Learn sessions executed per month * Referral partners activated and producing * Strategic meetings booked with target accounts * Field-sourced opportunities converting into active appeals * Salesforce documentation accuracy * Revenue contribution from sourced opportunities Who This Role Is For * You are confident walking into high-stakes offices unannounced * You prefer in-person conversations over sitting behind a desk * You can speak professionally with attorneys, CPAs, and CRE owners * You are self-directed and don't need micromanagement * You understand commercial real estate -- or are hungry to master it * You take pride in representing a serious firm the right way Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: Remote
