Full description of the position

In the role as a Full Truckload Sales Representative, you will be working alongside a team of dedicated staff and drivers to drive new business and create relationships to obtain dedicated contracts. Our ideal candidate will posses at least 1 year in a high paced Full Truckload sales environment and the ability to make 100+ calls per day. In addition, our ideal candidate will be able to connect with both customers and drivers creating solid and profitable relationships while building a strong book of business. Founded in 2015 Merdzic Transportation Services Inc was originally started in Kentucky and expanded into Florida operations in 2017 and we continue to grow. Duties * Cold calling 100+ contacts per day. * Rate Negotiation. * Dispatch and cover 10-20 Trucks per day. * Develop a strong book of business with dedicated Full Truckload freight. * Work alongside a team of dedicated asset-based transportation professionals. * Hit and exceed all sales goals on a weekly/monthly/yearly basis. * All other duties as assigned by supervisor. Requirements: * 1 year experience in and asset-based transportation sales role. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to developed strong business relationships and maintain a solid lead pipeline. * Ability to make 100+ calls per day. * High School Diploma * Must be able to pass a drug test and background check. * Able to negotiate rates and ensure high profitability margins. * Comprehensive understanding of driver scheduling and booking loads. * Understanding of load boards, freight market, and profitability of trucks. * Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
