Position Summary: Responsible for providing exceptional customer service support of our customers, manufacturers, and outside sales people. Works under immediate supervision. * Position Responsibilities: * Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints * Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems * Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken * Responsible for maintaining relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside sales people as directed * Responsible for all aspects of order entry * Provides proactive shipping information to customers * Works to solve customer problems under direction of manager * Responsible for producing submittals * Responsible for all aspects of customer service as directed * Other duties as assigned by manager * Essential Skills: * Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in related area. * Must have problem solving ability * Must have excellent math skills * Understanding new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making * Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services; this includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction * Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures and terminology * Must be proficient on Word, Excel, Blue Beam, internet research, and Outlook
