About the Role Bluegrass Lending Group helps small businesses access the capital they need to grow. We're hiring entry-level Sales & Business Development Associates to join our in-person team in Louisville. No finance experience required. We provide structured training, mentorship, and qualified leads so you can focus on learning sales skills and earning based on performance. Important: This is an independent contractor (1099) role. Compensation is commission-based with bonuses. There is no base salary. Recent graduates and soon-to-be graduates are encouraged to apply. What You 'll Do * Call and connect with small business owners using qualified leads we provide * Ask discovery questions to understand funding needs * Guide clients through document collection and pre-approval steps * Learn and explain business financing solutions confidently * Track activity and performance toward daily and weekly goals What You 'll Learn * Professional sales fundamentals and objection handling * How business financing works (SBA loans, term loans, equipment financing) * CRM tools, pipeline management, and follow-up strategies * Real-world communication with business owners and decision-makers What We 're Looking For * Entry-level or early-career candidates * Sales experience helpful but not required (retail, call center, hospitality, internships, athletics welcome) * Competitive, coachable, and motivated by performance-based income * Comfortable on the phone and resilient to rejection * Strong work ethic and desire to grow Compensation & Structure * Uncapped commission (35%) on closed deals * Daily, weekly, and monthly bonuses * Typical first-year earnings: $60,000 -$150,000+, based on performance * Top performers have earned $200,000+ annually * Independent contractor (1099) position Job Types: Full-time, Contract Projected Total Compensation: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Experience: * Sales: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * Louisville, KY 40202 (Required) Work Location: In person
