As a Commercial Playground & Recreation Sales Estimator, you can help lead the charge to restore active play areas throughout the region. *We 're interested in high-performing candidates with industry experience and top- notch people skills, *who can build professional relationships with customers and community stakeholders and work collaboratively with team members. This position requires travel approximately 25% of the time. Responsibilities * Travel to estimate and submit proposals for products and project installation within assigned territory (NE, IA, KS, & MO) * Interpret blueprints, scope takeoffs, prepare estimates and proposals. * Following each sale, continue to work with customers to provide all submittals and change orders for changes in scope. * Work collaboratively with project managers, field superintendents, and installation crews to see projects through to completion. * Be able to work thru submittals and architectural specifications. * Provide accurate cost estimations within budget and schedule. Qualifications * Previous experience in construction and/or playground industry. * Understands and can perform all aspects of the estimation and proposal process. * Strong verbal, social and written communication skills. * Ability to build rapport and develop positive working relationships with customers and team members. * Valid driver's license and clean driving record. * Estimating background required.
