Junior Sales Engineer - Industrial / Mechanical (Midwest Territory) Location: Lake Zurich, IL (In-office + travel) Pay: $50,000-$65,000 base + commission Travel: ~30% (Midwest states) This role is NOT retail, NOT inside-only sales, and NOT customer service. Who This Role Is For This role is for someone with a mechanical or industrial engineering background who wants to build a career in technical B2B sales. You will work with manufacturers, OEMs, and industrial buyers selling engineered bearing solutions. If you do not have technical or engineering experience , this role is not a fit. What You Will Do * Travel ~30% across the Midwest (OH, MI, IN, IL, WI, MN, IA) * Travel ~30% in local tri-state area. * Work from the Lake Zurich office when not traveling * Call on industrial customers and OEMs (manufacturing environment) * Support and grow existing accounts * Develop new business in assigned territory * Prepare quotes using drawings, specs, and technical data * Work with engineering, purchasing, and operations teams * Track activity and opportunities in CRM * Attend trade shows and customer visits Required Qualifications (Must Have) * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering OR 1-3 years in industrial technical sales / applications engineering * Ability to read technical drawings and specifications * Comfort working in manufacturing environments * Willingness to travel regularly * Strong communication skills in a professional B2B setting Not a Fit If You Are Coming From * Retail sales * Hair/beauty salons * Real estate * Insurance * Hospitality * Call centers * Non-technical customer service What We Offer * Base salary + commission * Company vehicle + paid travel expenses * Health insurance & paid time off * Training in bearings and industrial applications * Long-term growth with a global manufacturer Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: * Company car * Health insurance * Paid time off Experience: * sales development: 1 year (Required) Location: * Lake Zurich, IL 60047 (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * Lake Zurich, IL 60047 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
