Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store while actively engaging with customers to drive sales. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions. * Handle cash and manage cash register operations accurately. * Engage in upselling and cross-selling techniques to enhance customer purchases. * Conduct product demonstrations to inform customers about features and benefits. * Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure an appealing store layout. * Assist in stocking shelves and organizing inventory effectively. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. * Utilize basic math skills for transactions and retail math calculations. * Exhibit strong communication skills while interacting with customers and team members. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred. * Supervising experience is a plus, showcasing leadership capabilities. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele. * Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. * Familiarity with cashiering processes and cash handling procedures. * Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills with customers and colleagues alike. * A proactive approach to learning about products and services offered in-store. * Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
