About Us: Morgan Mechanical Inc. is a leading mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC and plumbing solutions for commercial and public projects. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator with expertise in HVAC systems , plumbing installations , and construction cost estimating. Responsibilities: * Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to determine scope. * Perform detailed material take-offs for HVAC and plumbing systems. * Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment. * Obtain and review vendor and subcontractor quotes. * Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure bid accuracy. * Collaborate with union field foreman and project managers. * Independently source bids from GC's, bidding channels and their own network. Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in HVAC and plumbing estimating. * Proficiency in estimating software (QuoteSoft, Sales Manager) and MS Excel. * Strong knowledge of mechanical systems , plumbing codes , and construction processes. * Knowledge of union labor planning and commercial construction. * Design/Build knowledge will be a competitive advantage. * Excellent analytical and communication skills.
