Job Type Permanent Employment Type Full time Working Type Onsite Education Level Associate Degree Experience Level Entry Level Salary Range $22 - $32 Job Location El Monte, CA, US Sales Promotion Assistant Location: El Monte, CA Salary: $21.70 - $32.10 / hour Employment Type: Full-time | M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM * Position Overview A well-established company in the Japanese food & beverage industry is seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Sales Promotion Assistant. This role supports the sales and marketing team by creating promotional materials, coordinating sample orders, and assisting with product promotions that help introduce authentic Japanese food culture to the U.S. market. If you enjoy creative work, have strong organizational skills, and want to contribute to a dynamic team environment, this is an excellent opportunity. * Responsibilities * Prepare and coordinate sales promotion newsletters. * Design and create monthly product newsletters using tools such as Photoshop or Canva. * Produce promotional materials (product brochures, tasting event materials, menu lists, etc.). * Enter and manage sample orders; communicate with manufacturers regarding product inquiries. * Handle simple bookkeeping tasks including collecting payments (cash/check/credit card). * Organize promotional materials from manufacturers and distribute to internal departments. * Support department meetings (sample meetings, sales meetings, etc.). * General administrative tasks: filing, preparing documents, updating sales data. * Participate in semiannual inventory counts (may include weekend work). * Attend occasional company events outside regular working hours. * Other duties as assigned by management. * Requirements Language Skills: * Business-level English * Business-level Japanese (Native-level preferred) Qualifications: * High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred * 1+ year of relevant office or marketing support experience preferred * Positive attitude and willingness to learn * Ability to work independently and collaboratively * Adaptability to changing tasks and priorities Technical Skills: * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite * Photoshop and/or Canva skills highly preferred * Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills * Excellent time management and organizational abilities * Basic mathematical skills (markups, discounts, inventory counts) * Knowledge of Japanese foods or sake is a strong plus * Physical Requirements * Able to sit and type for extended periods * Occasional reaching, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 20 lbs * Work environment is primarily indoors; noise level ranges from normal to loud * Benefits * Full coverage of health, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents * Life insurance * 401(k) plan with company match To apply, please send resume to [please apply online] LI-TS1
