Ready to transform lives and make your mark? Join us as an HME Specialist and be the change the world needs! Shift: Saturday - Wednesday, 8 A - 4:30 P. Role: HME Specialist Location: Travel between AHN Hospitals (AGH, West Penn, Forbes, Wexford, Canonsburg, Jefferson, AVH) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process referrals, obtain authorization, documentation, and physician orders to support dispensing criteria, and take the necessary steps to obtain missing documentation.
• Provide clear instructions to patients and caregivers to ensure understanding of the equipment.
• Comply with all hazardous and infection control procedures and proper PPE.
• Presents a positive image of AHN HME through professional appearance and behavior.
• Verify benefits to ensure coverage and correct setup with the system and communicate to the customer.
• Educate customers on the proper use of equipment, complete training confirmation documents, and the equipment distribution, including but not limited to orthotics, compression, bent metal, and oxygen.
• Capture and maintain business services with facilities and explore potential growth and sale opportunities.
• Ensure proper fit and demonstrate knowledge of orthopedic devices through accurate measurement, fitting, and removal of appliances.
• Maintain and complete quarterly on-site inventory and collaborate with the sales team.
• Document and maintain a tracking system for all work completed to reflect efforts and weekly referral volumes.
• Weekend on-call and Holiday coverage as needed. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 per hour
