About us Austin's is a national screen-printing and embroidery brand based on Cape Cod. We wholesale embroidered and screen-printed garments to tourist-targeted shops around the country and the Caribbean. Overview Join our design team as an Embroidery Digitizer / Production Artist and unleash your creative talents to bring intricate designs to life! In this role, you will be the vital link between design concepts and finished embroidered products, transforming artwork into precise digital files ready for production. Your expertise will ensure that each embroidery project meets quality standards while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties * Convert artwork into detailed embroidery files using Wilcom Embroidery Studio. * Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure desired results. * Alter existing designs to meet new customer needs. * Create design mock ups to be sent to customers. * Communicate with customers and sales reps to get art approvals. * Assist in troubleshooting embroidery machine issues related to design files or stitching problems. * Maintain organized records of all digital files, revisions, and project documentation for easy retrieval and quality control . * Develop new design concepts for prospective customers. Experience & Skills * Proven experience as an embroidery digitizer or production artist within a manufacturing or apparel environment. * Wilcom Embroidery Studio (or other digitizing software) 2+ years of experience. * Hands-on experience operating sewing machines and understanding sewing processes is highly advantageous. * Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) * Typography (letter kerning and manipulating glyphs) * Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. We are hoping to find someone experienced in embroidery and screen printing, but we may be willing to train the right talented individual. Pay offering may be adjusted based on experience.
