Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized EXPERIENCED Medical Biller professional to join our Oncology Medical Billing Company. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 year experience with Revenue Cycle & Follow Up, hospital billing preferred. This position is in office position. Duties * Verifying & completing charge information in data base and generating bills. * Calling insurance companies to facilitate claim resolution. * Appealing claim denials. * Maintaining billing records and ensure compliance with regulations. * Coordinating with hospital clerical/clinical staff to obtain insurance/charge information. * Other duties as assigned. Requirements * MUST HAVE at least 1 year Revenue Cycle, medical billing & follow up experience. * Patient accounting, billing systems, health insurance experience. * Knowledge of billing practices, follow up and contract terms. * Understanding of CPT, ICD-10, HFCA codes. * Ability to write appeals for denials. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook. * Ability to type. * High School diploma or GED.
