Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized EXPERIENCED Medical Biller professional to join our Oncology Medical Billing Company. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 year experience with Revenue Cycle & Follow Up, hospital billing preferred. This position is in office position.

Duties

• Verifying & completing charge information in data base and generating bills.
• Calling insurance companies to facilitate claim resolution.
• Appealing claim denials.
• Maintaining billing records and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinating with hospital clerical/clinical staff to obtain insurance/charge information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE at least 1 year Revenue Cycle, medical billing & follow up experience.
• Patient accounting, billing systems, health insurance experience.
• Knowledge of billing practices, follow up and contract terms.
• Understanding of CPT, ICD-10, HFCA codes.
• Ability to write appeals for denials.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.
• Ability to type.
• High School diploma or GED. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
