Millway Marina is Cape Cod's premier full-service marina, located on Barnstable Harbor, just minutes from Cape Cod Bay. We are an authorized dealer for Pioneer, Pair Custom, and Conch boats as well as Yamaha, Mercury, and Suzuki outboards and Sea Keeper Ride. We are currently seeking a full time Service Manager to join our team in Yarmouth, MA. The position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our service department including repairs, outboard repowers, and parts sales. The service department is made up of talented, seasoned technicians, administrators, and managers. Employees appreciate the relaxed management and collaborative work environment. The team often feels like a family - celebrating holidays and sharing potluck lunches throughout the year. Responsibilities * Manage the service team of marine technicians, yard workers, and administrators * Schedule customer and internal work and distribute work among technicians and yard workers * Communicate with customers regarding their service needs and promote the marina's services * Review finished work and check invoices for accuracy and completeness * Prepare accurate service estimates for work and parts * Coordinate warranty work with boat and engine manufacturers to ensure that work is authorized, claims are filed and paid, and parts returned * Maximize billable time, control costs, and ensure a safe work environment * Collaborate with other departments to improve operations Requirements * Strong leadership skills * Experience managing service teams in the marine industry * Knowledge of boats, engines, and marine parts * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Ability to manage workflow and prioritize tasks * Experience using MS Office and marine services software Compensation This is a full-time, hourly position. 40 hours/week. Compensation is based on skills and experience.
