Lou's Car Care & Fleet Services is seeking skilled and experienced A & B-Level Auto Technicians to join our production team. We are an independent, family- owned, and operated auto repair shop offering services for all makes and models. The ideal candidate has at least 5+ years of hands-on experience, a solid technical foundation, and a drive to grow both personally and professionally. *Why Join Lou 's Car Care? What We Offer: * Schedule: Daytime hours, Monday - Friday, no weekends * Compensation: Guaranteed 40 hours per week + overtime opportunities, with a billed hour bonus * Benefits: Health & dental insurance, paid personal time off, vacation, and holidays * Retirement: Company-sponsored program * Professional Growth: Unlimited training, certifications, and continuing education opportunities * In-house training sessions and full coverage for external training programs and certifications through trusted partners like ASE, NAPA, and AC Delco * Expert guidance from our Production Manager, a Master Technician and a proven leader, to help navigate complex vehicle repairs * State-of-the-art tools and equipment in a clean, organized shop environment *What We 're Looking For: * 5+ years of hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance * Strong diagnostic and repair skills across various vehicle systems, including but not limited to brakes, suspension, alignment, diagnostics, exhaust systems, and electrical * Ability to perform routine maintenance, complex repairs, and vehicle diagnostics with minimal supervision * Experience working with a variety of makes and models and proficiency with shop management software, such as Tekmetric * Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and communicate findings effectively to Service Advisors * Proficient in using scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair manuals to accurately repair and maintain vehicles * Experience with system/component replacements, engine repairs, and performing inspections to maintain high safety standards * A team player who works well in a collaborative environment and fosters a positive work culture * A strong work ethic, great attitude, and a willingness to take on challenging repairs and grow professionally * Valid Driver's License and NYS Inspector's License * Own tools appropriate for your skill level * Minimum of (2) ASE certifications or comparable certifications required, or ~1500 hours/ 9 months of proven experience with upper-level repair and diagnostics. * Familiarity with OEM repair procedures and an understanding of the latest automotive technology Additional Skills and Qualities We Value: * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Detail-oriented, ensuring that all repairs are done right the first time Our Team and Culture: The Production and Sales teams work together seamlessly to provide exceptional customer experiences while delivering high-quality services.
