National contract furniture company, specializing in school and office furniture, is seeking a bright, detail oriented, enthusiastic, articulate person to join our Sales Assistant team. The sales assistant candidate will work closely with their Sales Managers, customers and vendors to create and maintain client accounts. The candidate must provide high quality customer service to our clients. You will work closely with vendors, installers, freight companies to request quotes and information. Tasks include product specs/pricing and entering quotes/orders. You will also work closely with General Manager to prepare bid pricing and documents. High Level of Attention to Detail is required. Responsibilities: * Provide pricing to clients * Provide clients with product specifications * Request pricing from freight companies and manufacturers * Process orders * Work on bids - pricing, spec sheets, etc * Coordinate deliveries and installations Must be able to work efficiently in a team environment and be able to meet deadlines. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent Excel and math skills are required.
