Hexa Partners is a family owned and operated, Liquor Brokerage and Distribution Company interested in hiring a new Field Sales Associate for the state of Kentucky. Over the past 10 years, our company has excelled contributing to the hospitality industry and supplying high quality specialty items for this industry. Hexa Partners has an opening position for the right candidate to join our Field Sales Team in the State of Kentucky. We are a fast paced and dynamic liquor distributor with plenty of growth opportunities for the right candidate. Position Details: -Performs functions to obtain sales, secure new business accounts and service the needs of existing accounts within assigned territory. -Solicits orders by personally visiting new and existing accounts. -Educates customers with new and existing products. -Keeps current accounts active by taking part on the regular weekly sales order taking process under assigned territory. Bonus structure available. -Investigates and resolves customer complaints in accordance with company policy. -Must be motivated, Self-Starter individual able to keep up to date with new trends and current local events to generate new business and leads. -Good customer engagement and people skills are highly suggested to achieve success in this sales position. -Proven Sales Experience and communication skills. Excellent commission package plus base salary and incentives are available for the right candidate. -Must possess active driver license with clean driving record. Must poses reliable method of transportation. Must be willing to travel to other cities within the state to visit account managers and decision makers and complete sales. -Will be responsible for product placement at stores. Activities include re-stocking shelves, cleaning shelves and building displays. -Flexible schedule. Job duties might include working evenings or weekends on promotional activities and other account activities on demand. -Eligible candidates must be familiar with the restaurant and liquor industry. Paid training is available for the right candidate. Education and/or Experience: Associates degree in business/marketing or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. One to two years related experience, preferably in retail sales, marketing, restaurant industry or combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, write simple correspondence, and to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Spanish bilingual abilities preferred. Must be familiar with Windows suite and possess professional email correspondence etiquette. Position Requirements: -Clean Driving Record -Reliable method of transportation. -Proven Sales Experience -Motivated, Self-starter. Desire to grow individually and as part of the overall Sales Team of the company. -Professional appearance. -Bilingual (English/Spanish) Not required but highly suggested. -Ability to pass a Criminal Background check for employment. Must be at least 21 years old. Compensation: Base salary plus commission package and incentives. Extra Bonus package available for overachievers. Base salary starts at $18 per hour during training. Base rate increases once training is completed. Commissions are paid from the start of the training process. This is a career job.
