Job Title: Outside Sales Representative - Blinds, Shades, and Window Treatments Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team specializing in blinds, shades, shutters, drapery and custom window treatments. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, providing design consultations, and driving sales growth through exceptional service and product knowledge. Key Responsibilities: * Client Acquisition & Networking: * Actively canvass for new business opportunities, including outreach to designers, builders, real estate agents, property management companies, and previous clients. * Conduct in-home consultations to assess clients' window treatment needs and offer tailored design solutions. * Build and maintain a pipeline of leads through networking, referrals, and company-provided appointments. * Sales Process & Execution: * Educate clients on available products, fabric options, motorization, and installation processes. * Accurately measure windows and provide quotes based on client selections. * Prepare and submit sales orders, follow up with clients, and ensure customer satisfaction. * Relationship Management: * Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business. * Provide timely updates and follow-ups on quotes, samples, and project timelines. * Collaborate with designers, installers, and customer service teams to ensure seamless project execution. Qualifications: * 1+ year of outside sales experience (preferred in window treatments, home improvement, or interior design). * Strong design sense and ability to recommend aesthetically pleasing solutions. * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule. * Proficient in measuring and basic math skills (training provided). * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. * Comfortable using CRM software and mobile devices. Skills & Competencies: * Product Knowledge: Familiarity with window treatment options, materials, and installation processes. * Customer Service: Ability to deliver a consultative sales experience and ensure client satisfaction. * Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage appointments and follow-ups effectively.
