Job Description: Plumbing Service Sales Engineer Company: Calvert Mechanical Solutions Location: Towson, Maryland Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: Calvert Mechanical Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and results- oriented Plumbing Service Sales Engineer to drive growth by developing and maintaining strong client relationships and promoting our comprehensive plumbing service solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of plumbing systems, excellent sales acumen, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. This role will involve identifying and qualifying leads, conducting site surveys, developing proposals, and closing sales for a wide range of plumbing services, including repairs, maintenance, installations, and system upgrades. Responsibilities: * Sales & Business Development: o Identify and generate new sales opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation. o Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including commercial, industrial, and residential customers. o Conduct thorough site surveys and assessments to understand client needs and recommend appropriate plumbing solutions. o Prepare and present detailed proposals, including cost estimates, technical specifications, and project timelines. o Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve and exceed sales targets. o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in CRM system. o Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute sales strategies. * Technical Expertise: o Provide technical expertise and consultation to clients regarding plumbing systems, products, and services. o Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in plumbing. o Understand and explain complex plumbing systems and solutions to clients in a clear and concise manner. o Collaborate with the service and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction. * Customer Relationship Management: o Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. o Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.1 o Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond. o Gather customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement. o Manage projects sold from start to finish with the assistance of internal staff Qualifications: * Extensive experience in commercial plumbing systems, including sanitary, storm, water, gas piping, sewage ejector systems, backflow certification, backflow repair, infra-red fixtures, etc. * Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the plumbing, HVAC, or construction industry. * Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations. * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. * Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. * Strong problem solving abilities. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: * Plumbing license or certifications. * Experience with commercial and industrial plumbing projects. * Experience with water treatment systems or related technologies.
