ABOUT PAUSE Pause Long Beach is a modern wellness studio dedicated to restoring the human condition through a blend of cutting-edge technologies and ancient healing practices. We offer a variety of science-backed wellness modalities such as flotation therapy, infrared sauna therapy, cold plunge, cryotherapy, LED light therapy, compression therapy, and IV vitamin infusion. POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking Studio Associates who are passionate about wellness and delivering exceptional client experiences. Studio Associates are the heartbeat of Pause, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and guided through our recovery services. This is an hourly role with opportunities for growth in a rapidly emerging brand. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Provide an exceptional guest experience: greet clients warmly, explain services, and answer questions. * Promote Pause services and packages by understanding client needs and communicating the benefits of our offerings. * Assist with community outreach and studio events. * Manage appointments and transactions using our POS software. * Maintain studio cleanliness and aesthetics, including service rooms, reception, and restrooms. * Support team operations and step into new responsibilities as needed. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * One year of experience in fitness, wellness, customer service or related field. * High School graduate or equivalent. ESSENTIAL SKILLS * Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills * Excellent communication skills * Sales * Highly organized and able to multi-task * Time management COMPETENCIES * People lover * Passionate about physical and mental fitness, wellness and recovery * Manage a variety of responsibilities at the same time and achieving results on time * Utilize considerable judgment, independent action and initiative to analyze and resolve problems and make or develop recommendations * Demonstrate high levels of organization and attention to detail * Multitask with ease in energy filled, high pressure environment * Keep up-to-date on knowledge specific to Pause * Demonstrate a willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENT * Requires a wide range of constant physical activities, including but not limited to: sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching * Frequent repetitive movements. * Requires close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception * Continuous exposure to moderate noise * Frequent walking and standing on hard surfaces * Frequent movement, lifting or carrying of weight up to 50 pounds * Frequent use of chemicals, including solvents, lubricants, adhesives, paints, and cleaners OTHER DUTIES Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
