As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and product knowledge. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend products, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance their shopping experience. * Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is well-displayed and stocked. * Process sales transactions efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system. * Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies. * Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts as needed. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service. Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members. * Basic understanding of retail math to assist with transactions and inventory management. * Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register or POS system is advantageous. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle customer concerns professionally. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
