Job Overview Premier Power Electric is seeking a motivated and skilled Field Electrical Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys working independently, takes pride in customer satisfaction, and is confident in quoting and executing their own jobs. Technicians are dispatched to pre- scheduled appointments at residential and commercial locations. Duties * Travel to customer homes and businesses to perform on-site electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs with pre-set company provided appointments. * Estimate and price electrical work on the spot, including providing clear explanations and recommendations to customers. * Build rapport and establish trust with customers through clear communication and professional service. * Perform electrical upgrades and installations including: * Main panel upgrades * Subpanel modifications * Rewiring and load balancing * Circuit additions and dedicated lines * Ensure all work meets NEC standards and local code requirements. * Maintain accurate records of services, materials used, and customer communications. * Communicate with office staff regarding scheduling, job updates, and follow-ups. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and PPE protocols. Experience * Minimum 3 years of experience as a residential/commercial electrician. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and code compliance. * Comfortable working independently and managing your own workflow. * Experience with estimating and quoting jobs in the field is a strong plus. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. * Own hand tools and appropriate work attire (specialty tools and PPE provided as needed).
