Inside Sales & Support Representative - Columbus, Ohio Area Satellite Store Job Description: This is a full-time, in-person position at our Columbus/Gahanna, Ohio area satellite location. Company: Precision Laser & Instrument, Inc. Job Title: Inside Sales & Support Summary: This position requires the employee to handle day-to-day operations within their building and front showroom. They are responsible for internal communications and awareness of daily activities during the work week. Sales, front of house, administrative, inventory, rental and shipping needs must be met. Construction, Surveying and/or Engineering and Administrative experience is preferable. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Handle all incoming calls and direct them to the proper department or person 2. Greet and tend to walk-ins customers, pick-up and drop-off orders as- needed 3. Fill service request orders for customer drop-off units on a case-by-case basis 4. File Service "work orders" for technicians 5. Input service orders into the NetSuite Database System 6. Act as "Gate Keeper" for rental units 7. Create invoices and track all equipment 8. Assist in the monitoring of Sales Team inventory 9. Operate standard office equipment including, but not limited to, a calculator, personal computer and printer, photocopy machine, postage machine and facsimile 10. Print and audit the following reports: daily cash receipts, project tracking reports, accounts receivable aging and month-end reports 11. Initiate credit checks on new customers and existing accounts 12. Process DWCR/RMA's - service and customer returns 13. Respond to all vendor inquiries in a professional manner 14. Prepare all accounts payable checks when they are due 15. Prepare analysis of accounts as-needed 16. Take care of billing of invoices to customers and create credits when needed 17. Call customers with estimates on service, etc. 18. Update customer info on a daily basis for internal database 19. Assist in the development of flyers for sales and service 20. Handle shipping and receiving as-needed 21. Route Monday and Thursday packages to Corporate Office with all pertinent information (Collect all information and put in order, prior to shipping to Pittsburgh/Ambridge (HQ)) 22. Control and monitor cash box (Balance petty cash) 23. Communicate with other stores on progress reports for service 24. Ensure that all tasks assigned are completed in a timely manner 25. Communicate any actions that need to be taken for customers to proper department or personnel 26. Help monitor inventory in front and back of store (Assist with inventory) 27. Print labels for showroom items and aid in product management 28. Clean in and around office as needed (All team members at each location should assist) Benefits: * Salary/Hourly Pay * Holiday Bonus * Profit Sharing - When Applicable * 401 k - 4% match on 5% invested.
