Korean Bilingual Outside Sales Associate Location: El Monte, CA ((Hybrid Schedule - after introductory period) Salary: $47,840 - $60,320 annually Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM Employment Type: Full-time * About the Company A leading distributor in the Asian food & beverage industry is seeking a Korean-English bilingual Outside Sales Associate. The company supplies a wide range of food products, beverages, equipment, and supplies throughout the U.S. and is recognized for introducing authentic Asian cuisine to the market. If you enjoy building relationships, have strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career. * Position Overview The Outside Sales Associate is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, promoting company products, and achieving sales goals. The role involves client visits, product education, order management, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. * Key Responsibilities * Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management * Visit existing and prospective clients to provide product information and sales support * Ensure timely payment collection in coordination with the accounting team * Deliver excellent customer service and build long-term rapport * Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally * Coordinate urgent deliveries as needed to meet customer demands * Educate customers on product features and benefits * Enter and update orders in the company database accurately * Drive and maintain company vehicle in accordance with company policies * Participate in weekly sales meetings * Join semiannual inventory counts (may include weekend work) * Attend company events outside regular working hours as required * Perform additional duties assigned by management * Physical Requirements * Ability to drive for most of the workday * Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally * Ability to use the phone for extended periods * Work environment includes normal to loud office noise levels * Qualifications Language Requirements: * Business-level English * Business-level Korean (native-level preferred) * Japanese language ability is a plus Education & Experience: * High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred * 2+ years of sales or food industry experience preferred * Valid driver's license and clean driving record * Must complete Sake Adviser certification within 1 year of employment Skills: * Strong organizational ability and attention to detail * Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills * Effective communication and interpersonal skills * Basic math skills (markups, discounts, inventory counts, weight conversions, etc.) * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * ERP knowledge, especially AS400, highly preferred * Knowledge of Asian or Japanese foods & beverages is a plus * Benefits * Full medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage for employees and dependents * Life insurance * 401(k) with company match To apply, please send resume to [please apply online] LI-TS1
