Full description of the position

Position Summary Reporting directly to the CEO of OhioGIG, the Vice President of Sales will lead residential sales strategy and execution across all OhioGIG operating companies, while also contributing to the commercial sales strategy of Bresco Solutions. This executive role is responsible for building a scalable sales organization, driving growth, and ensuring consistent sales execution across diverse markets and service lines -- including fiber, fixed wireless, and value-added connectivity solutions. The VP of Sales will collaborate closely with the CEO and Presidents of each OhioGIG company to align sales goals, structure teams, and standardize performance expectations. They will also partner with Bresco leadership to strengthen commercial go-to-market plans and support the overall family of companies' revenue strategy. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership * Lead residential sales strategy and execution across all OhioGIG companies to achieve subscriber growth, revenue, and retention targets. * Partner with company leadership to align sales initiatives with each market's business objectives and community priorities. * Support Bresco Solutions in shaping commercial and enterprise sales strategy, leveraging market insights and crosscompany collaboration. * Develop unified standards for sales operations, reporting, and performance metrics across all entities. Sales Operations & Execution * Oversee sales planning, lead generation, and territory management for residential markets. * Build programs to drive customer acquisition for residential broadband, fixed wireless, and fiber services. * Establish clear sales processes and tools that ensure consistency and accountability across each company's sales organization. * Provide ongoing guidance to Bresco's Director of Sales on alignment opportunities, shared marketing efforts, and bundled offerings. Team Leadership & Development * Build and mentor sales teams across multiple companies, ensuring a culture of ownership, professionalism, and performance. * Create ongoing training programs to enhance product knowledge and consultative sales skills. * Implement KPIs, dashboards, and review cadences that drive accountability and celebrate success. Market & Competitive Analysis * Analyze market data and customer trends to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages. * Provide regular executive updates and recommendations based on regional sales performance and evolving customer needs. Customer & Partner Relations * Develop strong relationships with community partners, local governments, and developers to expand OhioGIG's residential footprint. * Support key Bresco business accounts and strategic partnerships to strengthen overall brand reputation and customer retention. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work, leadership and executive experience. * 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the Internet Service Provider industry, including multimarket or multibrand leadership. * Proven success driving growth within telecommunications, ISP, or technology sectors. * Strong background in both residential (B2C) and business (B2B) sales. * Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational leadership skills. * Datadriven and strategic thinker with a collaborative leadership style. * This position will require travel as needed to the OhioGIG family of company locations. Must be willing to travel by car.
