General Summary : Under the direction of the Broadband Engineering Manager, this position is responsible for the sale of Norwood Light and Broadband Fiber To The Premise and Voice-based services to Norwood customers, particularly residential. Build and maintain customer relationships. Oversee marketing, sales projections, customer growth and retention for the FTTP and voice Broadband product. Additionally, this role assists customers in migrating from traditional cable television to streaming services, provides guidance and support through the transition, and supports the sales of commercial services as needed. Essential Job Functions: * Sales leader responsible for driving new business and customer retention. * Actively seeks new sales leads through canvassing, referrals, cold calling, and customer relationships. * Builds and maintains customer relationships, ensuring an outstanding customer experience. * Promotes and assists customers in migrating from traditional cable TV to streaming services, offering guidance and support. * Assists with commercial sales opportunities, new product deployment, and introduction of new technologies, products, and services. * Develops and maintains customer growth budgets, sales projections, and retention plans. * Maintains accurate documentation and collaborates with Network, Outside Plant, Help Desk, and Customer Care to ensure excellent service. * Stays current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and billing system operations. Other Duties and Responsibilities: * Promotes positive communication with customers, the public, and other Town departments. * Works outside normal hours and remains available by cell phone as required. * Assists management with supervisory responsibilities, including training, assigning work, performance appraisals, and resolving employee issues in accordance with Town of Norwood policies. * Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree and 7-10 years of related experience, including at least 4 years in a customer-facing, revenue-generating role (preferably within Fiber to the Premise services), or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Valid driver's license with a good driving record. * Ability to work variable hours and under minimal supervision. * Ability to manage multiple priorities, prepare reports, and interact effectively with diverse groups. *This posting is not meant to be inclusive of all job duties or qualification requirements.
