Job Summary Elite Contents & Restoration, a subdivision of Muscular Moving Men, is seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate recurring pack-out, pack-back, and contents restoration referrals! This role focuses on building strong in-person relationships with restoration contractors, insurance agents, adjusters, TPAs, property managers, mitigation providers, flooring and construction companies, and other trades that regularly encounter contents needs. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the restoration ecosystem, established industry contacts, and a proven ability to build trust with decision-makers. As the face of Elite Contents & Restoration, the BDR will educate partners on our capabilities and drive measurable growth in referral volume and market presence. This is a field-based position requiring extensive cross-town travel, regular in-person visits, a self-starter mindset, and the ability to independently develop and execute a territory plan that consistently produces high-quality lead sources. Duties * Build and maintain relationships with restoration contractors, mitigation providers, insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, and other key referral partners. * Identify, qualify, and convert new referral sources into consistent monthly or quarterly lead providers. * Follow a structured weekly schedule of in-person visits, meetings, networking events, and industry association functions. * Educate partners on pack-out/pack-back workflows, documentation requirements, storage options, and Elite's service advantages. * Promote key differentiators, provide consultative support, and track lead flow across all business verticals. * Attend industry events and monitor competitor offerings, market trends, and emerging opportunities. * Work closely with operations for seamless job handoff and timely communication with partners. * Maintain accurate CRM notes, submit weekly activity reports, and produce proposals, presentations, and co-branded materials. Experience * Restoration industry experience required; existing relationships within insurance, mitigation, or contracting are highly preferred. * Proven success in business development, outside sales, or relationship management. * Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers. * Understanding of pack-outs, contents handling, storage processes, Xactimate, mitigation workflows, and insurance expectations. * Highly organized and able to manage routes, schedules, metrics, and a follow-up pipeline. * Self-starter with the ability to work independently and maintain high weekly outreach activity. * Professional, trustworthy, and effective at cultivating long-term partnerships.
