Job Overview Custom Fundraising Solutions of Nashville is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Associate to grow fundraising partnerships with schools and community organizations across Middle Tennessee. This is a full-cycle, relationship- driven sales role with a base salary plus uncapped commission, ideal for candidates with experience in consultative sales, education sales, or fundraising. A Day in the Life * Own and execute a territory-based sales strategy * Prospect and build relationships with teachers, coaches, band directors, choir directors, and booster organizations * Conduct discovery conversations to understand fundraising goals, timelines, and decision-making structures * Present customized fundraising solutions clearly and confidently book the events (aka close the sale) * Lead 1 on 1 teacher meetings, parent meeting presentations, and student meetings as part of the sales and onboarding process * Manage opportunities from first contact through signed agreement * Maintain accurate pipeline activity and follow-up in the CRM * Attend local school, community, and educator events to strengthen relationships and drive growth Schedule Note: Fundraising meetings primarily occur during school hours and early evenings during week and the actual events are executed on the weekends. Our most active time is when school is in session during the spring and fall semester. This role requires flexibility during peak seasons and rewards those who plan ahead and manage their time effectively. What You 'll Be Responsible For Sales & Territory Leadership * Own performance and growth within your assigned territory * Develop and execute a strategic plan to generate and close new fundraising partnerships * Serve as the face of the company to schools and community organizations * Close fundraising programs aligned with both client goals and company standards Relationship Management * Build trust with decision-makers such as principals, athletic directors, and booster organizations, while primarily working directly with coaches, choir/band directors, and teacher-led club organizers (e.g., FFA, DECA, and similar programs) * Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales and onboarding process * Clearly communicate expectations, timelines, and program details to all stakeholders * Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition after the sale Performance & Accountability * Consistently meet or exceed monthly and seasonal revenue goals * Maintain a healthy, accurate, and well-documented sales pipeline * Participate in regular sales meetings, coaching, and performance reviews * Contribute feedback and insights to improve sales processes and territory strategy What We 're Looking For Required * 2+ years of sales experience , preferably in B2B, fundraising, education, or consultative sales * Proven ability to manage a pipeline and close deals independently * Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills * Comfortable and confident with public speaking , including leading parent meetings, teacher meetings, and student meetings (in-person and virtual) * Ability to clearly present information to groups of varying sizes and roles * Comfortable being a visible, trusted representative of the company * Ability to work flexibly during peak school-season weekends * Self-directed, accountable, and comfortable owning results Territory Information This role requires regular travel throughout the Middle Tennessee region, with occasional travel into southern Kentucky. The assigned territory includes schools and organizations across urban, suburban, and rural communities, with travel extending as far west as Jackson, TN and as far east as Cookeville, TN. Senior Sales Associates are expected to use their personal vehicle for travel to meetings, school visits, and fundraising events. Mileage is reimbursed at the standard IRS rate (2026 rate). Successful candidates are comfortable spending significant time on the road, value face-to-face relationship building, and enjoy working closely with small-town and rural school districts , where in-person presence is critical to success. This role is best suited for candidates who are comfortable driving long distances several days per week and managing their schedule independently.
