TITLE: Sales Representative - Japanese Bilingual - Entry Level Welcome! Pay: 50-60k/year LOCATION: Torrance, CA * GENERAL SUMMARY This position is responsible for the proactive sales of the organization's products to the designated distribution channel and diligent completion of related support tasks. * PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Manage all tasks of multiple retailers and/or distributor sales accounts, including providing product information, communicating accurate costs and inventory status, item set ups, and other tasks related to account management. 2. Move proactively to exceed established sales goals for each assigned account by communicating daily with sales clients to obtain purchase orders and new business. 3. Handle sales calls and email correspondence with designated clients in a professional manner. 4. Manage customer orders by coordination with internal and external teams, correcting purchase orders for accuracy as needed. 5. Monitor outstanding invoices, and coordinate with Admin team to collect payments from clients. 6. Compile sales data and carry out sales analysis, sales forecast, and inventory management. 7. Create sales related proposals for submission to managers for approval. 8. Create item set-up sheets to send to our clients for new products. 9. Proactively identify problems and potential risks in advance, and proactively proposing potential resolutions to managers. 10. Conduct market research by visiting retail stores and ecommerce websites, and compiling store reports with detailed analysis. 11. Identify and report new potential business opportunities, and take action as instructed. 12. Propose, schedule, and conduct well-organized sales meetings (online and in-person), traveling locally, out-of-state, or internationally as needed to meet clients. Prepare all sales proposals & presentations, product samples, and travel arrangements in advance. 13. Submit written reports in Japanese detailing content of meetings and events. 14. Translate and/or edit product documentation, packaging, and other documents to and from Japanese and English. Double check work and ensure accuracy and fluency. 15. Performs interpretation as needed. 16. Propose, obtain, negotiate, and execute business related contracts. 17. Handle customer service queries by troubleshooting problems and responding to end user questions and claims. 18. Assists with marketing tasks which include but not limited to, updating of social media channels and website, reaching out to influencers, running promotions and advertising, and other tasks as necessary. 19. Manage day to day activities with little to no managerial supervision. 20. Maintain weekly and monthly schedules, organizing and prioritizing tasks as appropriate and accomplishing tasks in a timely manner. 21. Cooperate with other employees to accomplish mutual goals and promote a productive, professional, and respectful work environment. 22.
