About us About us HealthClaim Review is a medical and hospital cost containment firm servicing self-funded large and small employers nationwide. We are nimble, fast-paced, fun and our goal is to Make health insurance more affordable. We use our specialist physician panel covering 125 specialties to provide medical necessity and medical reimbursement recommendations. We use the abilities of our medical coding and repricing experts to reduce the financial impact of hospital and facility bills. The Sales Associate position is a great opportunity to learn the basics of managed health care by assisting the President/CEO of the company in bringing in new clients (employer groups and health insurance companies). Job activities include but are not limited to: * Generate leads and contacts through phone calls and emails * Coordinate calendars with potential leads to schedule calls and meetings * Concisely and effectively explain the company and its selling points in both written and verbal communication. * Maintain and organize marketing database (ACT), including tracking personnel changes, mergers & acquisitions, and relevant interactions with all potential leads. Use reminders in ACT and/or Outlook to maintain regular scheduled follow up of leads. * Assist with planning and setup for in-person conferences. * Steadily follow up with leads after initial contact, especially if they have expressed interest. * Assist with creation of marketing materials, such as PDFs that are sent out to leads and branded items given out at conferences. * Retain knowledge about possible leads, including the important people within the company, its location, and its role in the industry. The position is not responsible for any sales quotas or direct sales results, but rather is one that promotes knowledge about the companies services to potential clients. Position does consist of emailing, calling and attending exhibit conferences throughout the year. A main component is setting up conference calls for company President who does the heavy lifting in terms of any actual selling, but this is a great opportunity to learn a lot about healthcare systems and payment and healthcare cost containment. We usually attend 3-5 US conferences per year. We have also attended some international conferences as well pre-Covid. Prior sales experience (or healthcare experience) is NOT required. What is essential is an ability to learn a lot about healthcare in a short period of time, and the ability to speak with people by phone, email , GoToMeeting calls, and the ability to meet people at conferences and while staffing an exhibit booth. This is the only Sales & Marketing type position in the company; the company owner and President is ultimately responsible for closing any sales activity or contracts. But you will be along every step of the way in promoting, enabling and actively managing potential sales contacts and arranging meetings in which you will also participate.
