Overview We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, promoting products, and ensuring an organized and inviting shopping environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, sales experience, and a passion for helping customers find the right products. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail are a plus, but not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop retail skills in a dynamic setting. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs * Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges * Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits * Upsell related products to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales * Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked * Stock shelves and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability * Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities * Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly * Support supervising staff in training new team members when necessary Qualifications * Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in similar environments * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively * Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations * Experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures * Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous * Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases * Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude * Supervising experience is beneficial for leadership opportunities within the team * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
