Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Sales Associate to join our team, focused on building relationships with potential customers for our custom travel vans. The ideal candidate will excel in long-term sales cycles, often lasting months or even years, and will be responsible for managing all sales interactions, from initial contact to close. This role involves frequent communication with leads via phone calls, texts, and emails, as well as detailed record-keeping in our CRM system. The Sales Manager will work closely with marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and advise on strategies to improve lead generation. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct sales pitches, follow-ups, and manage long-term relationships with leads, often involving months or years of nurturing. * Utilize phone calls, texting, and emails to communicate with potential clients, ensuring timely follow-ups. * Record all sales interactions, follow-up tasks, and customer preferences in the CRM for accurate tracking and lead management. * Learn and understand the features and benefits of our custom travel vans to effectively present them to clients and address any questions or concerns. * Collaborate closely with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness, ensuring marketing efforts align with sales needs. * Develop sales strategies tailored to individual clients, considering the long sales cycles and unique needs of each prospect. * Create and maintain accurate forecasts of sales opportunities, tracking the status of each lead throughout the sales funnel. * Attend sales meetings, product trainings, and keep up-to-date on industry trends to continuously refine sales pitches and strategies. * Willingness to travel for trade shows (25%) Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a long-cycle sales environment such as custom vehicles, RVs, or high-ticket items. * Proven ability to manage leads through long sales cycles, maintaining consistent communication and follow-up. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building trust and long-term relationships. * Experience working with CRM systems to track sales interactions and lead progression. * Ability to collaborate with marketing teams to provide insights and feedback on lead generation campaigns. * Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple leads over extended periods. * Familiarity with the automotive, custom vehicle, or travel industry is a plus but not required.
