GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: The Equipment Sales position is responsible for generating profitable equipment package sales within the food service industry while representing the company with professionalism and integrity. Success in this role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative, delivers dependable follow-through, and consistently drives results. A strong focus on project management is essential, with responsibilities spanning the entire project lifecycle--from initial quoting to the completion of the final punch list. This position earns a base salary plus commission structure. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: * Ability to communicate effectively with customers, and close deals. * Manage existing accounts and ability to quote projects and maintain profitability standards. * Develop new accounts to add to existing customer base via opening store packages and reorders, and be able to travel to customer locations, occasionally at short notice. * Meet predetermined sales goals. * Manage multiple projects at the same time while maintaining superior customer service. * Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the individuals in the equipment customer service department. * Complete proper paperwork accurately and in a timely manner and maintain organized files. * Assist in collection of down payment deposits, interim and general invoices. * Understand and support sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all customers. * Initiate service calls on equipment malfunctions on behalf of the customer. * Attend company and industry sponsored trainings. * Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED * 2 to 4 Years customer service and/or project management experience, sales, preferably in a foodservice, distribution, or construction related field. * Strong emphasis on project management, all aspects of ordering, freight, and routing. * Demonstrated familiarity with buying and selling concepts, and desire to learn an organization from the inside out, and to be a part of a committed team * Ability to read foodservice equipment drawings. * Superb attention to detail, time management and prioritization of duties * Strong work ethic and strong problemsolving skills with the ability to follow up on outstanding issues and follow through to resolution. * Customer relationship building and the ability to communicate clearly with all levels of staff and clients * Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
