Lindsay Automotive is one of the oldest Honda dealers in Central Ohio, dating back to 1973. We are a service oriented organization that prides itself on establishing life-long relationships with our customers. We consider our employees to be one of its most valuable resources. A Sales Business Development Center (BDC) is the first point of contact for customers contacting the dealership via phone, internet, or in-person. Your primary mission is to create a seamless transition from the initial inquiry to a scheduled showroom appointment. You will balance administrative desk duties with proactive lead management in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. Responsibilities Include: * Answer multi-line phone systems and internet chat inquiries; identify if the caller is a new lead, a returning customer, or a service inquiry. * Use scripts to encourage callers to visit the showroom. Your success is often measured by the number of appointments you set that actually show up. * Accurately log every interaction--name, phone number, vehicle of interest, and source of lead--into systems. * Provide a high-energy, professional welcome to walk-in traffic and introduce them to the appropriate Sales Consultant or Manager. * Monitor the salesperson rotation to ensure customers are helped fairly and promptly. * Assist customers with basic questions regarding vehicle inventory, current manufacturer incentives, and dealership hours. * Call or text customers who missed their scheduled appointments to reschedule. * Assist the BDC Manager with outbound calls for dealership events, lease-end notifications, or holiday sales. Qualifications: * Exceptional verbal and written skills. You must sound enthusiastic and helpful over the phone. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn complex CRM and DMS (Dealer Management System) software. * Ability to handle a ringing phone, a walk-in customer, and a digital lead notification simultaneously without losing your composure. * High school diploma required; previous experience in retail, telemarketing, or hospitality is highly preferred.
