Position Overview: We're seeking an Independent Solar Sales Representative to generate and/or close residential and small commercial solar opportunities. This is a 1099 independent contractor role and is commission-only. You will be responsible for your own taxes, insurance and business expenses. The ideal candidate has prior experience in solar, construction, or related project/sales and development roles, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be confident in making contacts, building relationships, closing sales, and supporting the project when needed. This person should be comfortable coordinating across departments, being sure to communicate accurate expectations for installation and the project itself. Familiarity with permitting, interconnection processes, and residential solar project timelines is helpful. Key Responsibilities: * Prior sales experience preferred; solar/home improvement sales a plus * Strong communication and customer management skills * Able to manage your own pipeline and follow-up cadence * Comfortable with remote presentations; in-person consults optional based on territory Required Qualifications: * Prior sales experience preferred; solar/home improvement sales a plus * Strong communication and customer management skills * Able to manage your own pipeline and follow-up cadence * Comfortable with remote presentations; in-person consults optional based on territory What We Offer: * Commission-only (1099). Uncapped earnings based on closed sales. * Commission terms and payment timing are defined in the independent contractor agreement.
