We are looking to hire an energetic and upbeat Sales Associate to join our team here in the Long Beach area! Title: Sales Associate Responsibilities Excellent Customer Service: Our customers are our number one priority. * Greet customers with an upbeat and friendly tone, and an overall welcoming demeanor. * Astute listening and communication skills followed by the proper recommendation of storage solutions tailored to customers' needs. * Eagerness to showcase the facility and ability to review and answer clients' questions and objections. * Able to multitask, prioritize, and complete tasks promptly. Day-to-day Functions: Key duties include, but are not limited to * Assist the General Manager and the team and be able to work independently. * Upkeep of the office and facility, taking pride in the appearance of the company at all times. * Detailed in scheduling, updating, and confirming reservations and/or appointments. * Use of Management software and other programs in properly maintaining an organized record of customer documentation and interactions. * Answer incoming sales calls, handle customer payments, and outbound collections. * Record keeping of inventory control and consistent walk-thru of the facility. * Balancing cash drawer and bank deposits. * Become an expert in self-storage by renting storage spaces and managing the leasing process. * Participate in operations activities such as keeping the property clean, performing lock checks, and showing units to potential customers * Utilize our Point of Sales system (POS) to take payments, manage customer accounts, and maintain inventory * Participate in operations activities such as keeping the property clean, performing lock checks, and showing units to potential customers Qualifications * Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers * Proven retail sales experience with a focus on customer service * Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math tasks * Proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems * Knowledge in Sitelink is a plus! * Ability to manage inventory and stock shelves efficiently * Experience in merchandising and product demonstrations is a plus * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced customer interaction Job Type: Part-time Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: * Paid time off Work Location: In person
