Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Sales Coordinator to join our team. This role is vital in driving the success of our events by managing sales, coordinating logistics, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, with a passion for hospitality, event planning, and client relations. Experience in banquet, catering, hotel, or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Duties * Develop and execute strategic sales plans to promote event spaces and services * Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored event solutions * Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize revenue while ensuring client satisfaction * Upsell additional services such as catering, decor, or entertainment to enhance event packages * Coordinate with internal teams on event planning, including logistics, setup, and execution * Manage event marketing efforts through various channels to attract new clients * Oversee budgeting and ensure events stay within financial parameters * Maintain detailed records of client interactions, contracts, and event details * Provide exceptional guest services during events to ensure customer satisfaction * Collaborate with vendors for catering, entertainment, and other event-related services * Assist in fundraising efforts or special promotions to boost event bookings Qualifications * Proven experience in event marketing, planning, or management; banquet, hotel, restaurant experience is a plus * Strong negotiation and upselling skills with a focus on customer service excellence * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and vendors * Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously * Proficiency in time management and project coordination * Knowledge of contracts, budgeting, and hospitality operations * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment * Experience in guest services or hospitality industries enhances candidacy * Prior experience with fundraising or event promotion is advantageous Join our team as an Event Sales Coordinator to play a key role in creating unforgettable experiences for our clients while advancing your career in the vibrant field of events management.
