The right candidate will have excellent organizational and customer service skills, the ability to communicate well with prospective customers, supervisors and coworkers, and will excel in a team environment working with ACT's inside sales team. The business development manager will build a strong pipeline of residential and corporate prospects, as well as maintain existing relationships with clients. Job Duties * Prospect and cold call established builders, architects, and interior designers * Help maintain good customer relations at all times * Demonstrate ACT's services and abilities through presentations to trade associations and prospects * Manage incoming sales inquiries * Move the prospective customers to the next step of the sales process with the inside sales team * Help with proposals and change orders when needed * Help inside sales team with marketing activities Job Requirements * Strong sales background with at least five years experience * Sales experience in the consumer or commercial electronics field preferred but not required * Sales experience in the residential or commercial construction field preferred but not required * Excellent time management and communication skills * Solid communication skills and a good driving record a must * Experience building relationships with architects, designers, developers and builders a plus * Have a keen interest in technology
