We're looking for a talented HVAC Counter Sales Associate to join our team and help drive success. As a Counter Sales Associate, you'll be the face of our company, providing top-notch customer service, presenting products and services, and recommending solutions to meet customer needs. Qualifications of a Counter Sales Associate: * Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences * Practical knowledge of warehouse, data processing, and operations procedures * Ability to negotiate transactions and mediate situations * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and ability to learn new software quickly * High School Diploma or GED required * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment * Prior HVAC experience preferred, but not required Responsibilities of a HVAC Counter Sales Associate: * Sell HVAC Products : Sell heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, parts, and supplies to customers. * Customer Interaction : Greet customers on the sales floor or receive phone calls to determine their needs and provide product information. Discuss product features and demonstrate merchandise. * Merchandise Display : Display products in a visually appealing way, suggest suitable options, and highlight key selling points such as quality and utility. Maintain a clean and organized showroom. * Product Research : Use catalogs and computer databases to find replacement part stock numbers and prices. Advise customers on substitutions or modifications when needed. * Order Processing : Process customer orders, prepare sales orders or quotes, and fill orders from stock or transfer merchandise from other locations. * Payment and Returns : Handle payment and credit authorization, and examine returned merchandise to determine refund or replacement eligibility. * Customer Outreach : Contact new and existing customers via phone to promote sales and resolve inventory issues or customer concerns. * Warehouse and Tasks : Work in the warehouse, assist with open orders, purchase orders, and return merchandise, and maintain accurate warranty return authorizations. * Other duties as assigned Why Homans is the place for you: * Competitive salary * Internal growth- where do you want to go?
