Location: Remote (U.S.) -- strong preference for candidates located in Middle Tennessee or Clark County, Nevada due to proximity to staff and occasional in-person meetings. Travel: Occasional travel for client meetings, team sessions, and industry events Compensation: Base salary + performance-based bonus (details shared during interview) Splash Box Marketing is an award-winning, woman-owned small business (WOSB) providing Section 508 / ADA accessibility compliance and document remediation (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) plus creative services for organizations nationwide. We serve commercial and government clients, with a strong growth focus in health plans and healthcare organizations. We're hiring a President who can personally close strategic deals, expand our footprint in health plans, grow government contracting success, and build a high-performing sales team. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) * Own revenue growth across health plans and government markets, including pipeline creation, forecasting, and closing. * Personally close deals with health plans (enterprise-level stakeholders) and strategic partners. * Build and execute account strategies for target health plans (e.g., Blues, Medicaid MCOs, Medicare Advantage, and related healthcare organizations). * Lead government contracting strategy : identify opportunities, guide capture, and support RFP/RFQ/RFI responses in partnership with internal teams. * Build and lead a sales team (structure, hiring, onboarding, coaching, KPIs, accountability). * Implement repeatable sales systems: CRM discipline, qualification criteria, proposal workflow, and clean handoffs to delivery. * Develop partnerships with primes/subs and healthcare vendors to drive recurring opportunities. * Represent Splash Box at conferences and events; strengthen brand presence with decision-makers. What We're Looking For (Required Qualifications) * 10+ years of progressive leadership in sales/revenue/business development (VP/Director/GM/President level). * Strong, current network within health plans with a proven ability to convert relationships into revenue. * Demonstrated success closing complex B2B deals (multi-stakeholder, longer sales cycles, compliance-driven buyers). * Proven experience with government contracting (federal and/or state/local), including procurement cycles and proposal support. * Track record of building and leading sales teams (hiring, coaching, performance management, KPI-driven execution). * Executive presence, strong communication, and comfort negotiating high-stakes agreements. * Hands-on, metrics-driven operator who can thrive in a growth environment. Nice to Have * Experience selling accessibility/compliance services, document services, SaaS, or professional services. * Familiarity with Section 508 / WCAG / ADA (or willingness to learn quickly). * Experience working with set-aside programs and subcontracting strategies (WOSB familiarity a plus). Blue plans (BCBS), Medicaid Managed Care (MCO), Medicare Advantage, Commercial employer plans, pharmacy? * Do you have experience selling compliance-related services or solutions (e.g., accessibility/508/WCAG, regulatory, risk, audit, security, HIPAA-related services, etc.)? * Do you have government contracting experience?
