Company: (Lower Broadway Entertainment Group) About the Role We are seeking a Head of Sales & Private Events to own and scale private event revenue across multiple flagship entertainment venues on Lower Broadway in downtown Nashville. This is a revenue-focused leadership role responsible for building a best- in-class private events sales engine -- from inbound lead conversion to outbound prospecting, pricing strategy, and flawless incorporation to operations. You will be accountable for top-line private events revenue , pipeline health, and close rates, while working closely with venue leadership to ensure events execute smoothly and guests leave thrilled. This role blends sales leadership, strategy, and hands-on closing. What You 'll Do Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth * Own private events revenue across two high-volume venues * Build and execute a comprehensive private events sales strategy * Set revenue targets, pacing goals, and KPIs * Develop pricing structures, minimums, and packaging strategies * Identify opportunities to grow non-peak and shoulder-day business Lead Management & Closing * Own the full sales funnel: inbound leads, outbound prospecting, follow-ups, and closing * Respond to inquiries quickly and professionally * Convert interest into booked events through strong sales storytelling * Negotiate contracts, deposits, and terms * Maintain high close rates while protecting venue value Outbound Sales & Partnerships * Proactively prospect local and regional businesses, brands, agencies, and organizations * Build relationships with HR, Marketing, Executive Assistants, and Event Planners * Develop repeat corporate accounts and agency partnerships * Represent business at networking events and industry functions Team Leadership & Process * Build, train, and manage a private events sales team (as volume grows) * Establish repeatable sales processes, scripts, and playbooks * Implement and manage CRM systems and reporting * Ensure clean handoff from sales to operations for execution Event Packaging & Experience Alignment * Collaborate with Operations and Guest Experience to ensure events deliver on expectations * Create scalable event packages (corporate outings, buyouts, celebrations, VIP experiences) * Ensure sales promises align with what venues can execute * Upsell premium experiences, VIP areas, food & beverage, and enhancements What We 're Looking For * 7-12+ years of experience in hospitality sales, private events, or venue sales * Proven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets * Strong closer with excellent communication skills * Experience selling high-volume, premium experiences * Comfortable negotiating with corporate clients, brands, and agencies * Highly organized with strong follow-through Ideal Traits * Revenue-minded and competitive * Relationship-driven * Comfortable picking up the phone * Strategic but scrappy * Strong sense of urgency * Knows how to sell experiences , not just space Compensation * Base salary: commensurate with experience * Commission / bonus: Performance-based, tied to booked revenue * Benefits and perks included Why Us Owner operates some of the most recognizable entertainment venues on Broadway.
