Location: La Jolla Type: Part-Time About the Role The Concierge is the face and heartbeat of the Thread + Seed experience. This role sets the tone from the moment a client walks through the door. You are warm, confident, highly engaging, and genuinely excited to connect with people. You love creating memorable first impressions and guiding clients into what makes Thread + Seed special. As a Concierge, you will welcome clients, introduce them to our Style Palette experience, encourage participation in our quiz, and seamlessly connect them with our styling team. You'll support stylists behind the scenes, help manage appointments, and play a key role in special events and storefront activations. When needed, you'll also step onto the sales floor to support the team. This is a dynamic, people-forward role ideal for someone who thrives on energy, connection, and elevated client experience. Key Responsibilities Client Experience & Engagement * Warmly greet every client and set a welcoming, elevated tone for the store * Confidently educate clients on the Style Palette, including color profiles and body types * Encourage and guide clients through the Style Palette quiz * Provide store tours and introduce clients to our services and offerings * Act as a connector between clients and stylists to ensure a seamless experience Style Palette & Appointment Support * Track Style Palette clients and maintain accurate client information * Book appointments and manage the styling calendar * Gather essential client details to support stylists in creating a personalized experience * Assist stylists with appointment setup and preparation Sales Floor Support * Be well-versed in product knowledge and store flow * Provide employee breaks and work sales shifts as needed * Support overall store operations when a concierge is not present Events & Storefront Activations * Lead on-site coordination for special events and activations (e.g., spin-the-wheel, photo booth) * Serve as the main point of contact for event vendors * Ensure vendors feel supported and set up for success * Handle full event setup and breakdown, including drink stations, treats, and displays Who You Are * Extremely outgoing, warm, and confident in engaging with customers * High-energy but also self-sufficient and proactive * Comfortable initiating conversations and guiding experiences * Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable * Flexible and willing to jump in wherever needed * A true team player who believes in collaboration * Passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience * Comfortable working both as a concierge and on the sales floor Schedule & Requirements * Part-time with a flexible schedule * Must be reliable and punctual * Ability to work events, weekends, and peak retail hours as needed * Based out of our La Jolla location Why Thread + Seed Thread + Seed is known for thoughtful styling, meaningful connection, and a modern approach to fashion and gifting.
