Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Duties * Service Customers shipping needs through a industry specific point of sale(POS) system. * Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and labeling them accurately. * Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipment details. * Communicate effectively with team members and vendors regarding shipping schedules and inventory needs. Qualifications * Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred. * Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is a plus. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers. * Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse customer base. * Knowledge of retail sales techniques, including upselling strategies. * Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing inventory accurately. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
