Sales Support Specialist The position of the Sales Support Specialist is crucial to the success of Henderson Ag Advantage (HAA) as the role is responsible for supporting HAA's sales team throughout our geography. A Sales Support Specialist serves as a subject matter expert by maintaining detailed knowledge of sales programs and processes, policies, deadlines, A/R, to ensure timely and effective customer service. Duties: Manage all aspects of invoicing for HAA sales team o A/R o Transaction processing o Direct customer and sales team communication when questions arise o Direct point of contact for invoicing related questions *Maintain inventory by way of HAA 's software o Monthly reconciliation of inventory o PO's o SO's o Delivery tickets o Inbound deliveries Develop and exercise processes and protocols to enhance sales, invoicing, and inventory-related efficiencies. o Work with and coach CSRs (chemical sales representatives) to improve their effectiveness o Create innovative ideas to incent CSRs to increase sales and sales efficiency. GPOS (grower point of sale) reporting for basic manufacturer crop protection sales Tracking sales commissions for sales team o Facilitate CSR commission reconciliations Work with software team to drive efficiencies and mold software for beneficial use for the team Assist with event planning and coordination Competencies required: * Self-motivated and initiative-taking. * Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). * Proficient in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and other potential software programs * Adapt to changes in roles and priorities as needs (and seasons) arise. * Ability to learn specific product knowledge as it relates to agribusiness. * Recognize process improvement opportunities and then effectively communicate to implement change. * Explicit attention to detail. * Associate degree in business and / or equivalent experience to fulfill this position. * This is an in-office position, with some time spent in a warehouse environment. What we 're looking for: * General Agriculture experience * BS in Agriculture or similar degree * Experience with customer service. * Experience in accounting, invoicing, analytics. * Experience in sales and marketing.
