About this Role: As a Counter Sales Associate, you'll play an important role in driving customer satisfaction and loyalty by Understanding Customer HVAC Needs, Providing Expert Recommendations, Solutions , and Resolving Issues with a positive attitude and drive! Responsibilities of a Counter Sales Associate: * Drive Sales Growth by selling Heating, Ventilation, and Air conditioning equipment (HVAC), supplies to customers * Connect with Customers: Engage with customers on the sales floor or via phone to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions * Be a Product Expert: Discuss product features and benefits, and demonstrate merchandise to help customers make informed decisions * Find Solutions: Research product availability, advise on substitutions or modifications, and provide pricing information * Prepare, Fill, and Quote Orders * Collaborate with the Team , Work with our counter lead and warehouse staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences * Other duties as assigned Qualifications of a Counter Sales Associate: * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to learn new software quickly and accurately. * Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. * High School Diploma or GED required * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Any lifting from 50-75 would require assistance from another employee. * Prior HVAC industry experience is required.
