We are thrilled to announce a new position: Senior Manager of Business Development - Partnerships, joining our US Commercial Team. Please note: * No relocation assistance is offered for this position. * The role is based on our Boston HUB located at 1000 Boylston Street. Our hybrid working model is 3 days office/2 days home weekly. Core Responsibilities: * Own the development and implementation of the private partnership strategy for LEGO Education in North America. Focus on the K12 market and build a scalable model to unlock new funding streams. * Identify , prioritize, and secure strategic partnerships involving corporations, foundations, CSR organizations, and other private-sector partners. * Develop partnership structures and value propositions that align corporate objectives with the goals of LEGO Education's educational programs, resulting in co-funded STEM and learning initiatives. * Build and cultivate positive relationships across internal teams and external partners to ensure effective teamwork and delivery. * Develop and document case studies and evidence of successful partnerships and initiatives to demonstrate impact and inform future strategies. * Monitor market developments in corporate giving, philanthropy, CSR, and social-impact trends, identifying opportunities for growth. * Track performance metrics and partnership outcomes, ensuring visibility, accountability, and continuous improvement. Do you*have*what it takes? * Proven experience in a B2B, partnership, business development, or strategic commercial environment, ideally with a focus on building and scaling multi-stakeholder partnerships. * Demonstrable experience in identifying , engaging, and closing strategic partnerships with corporates, foundations, NGOs, or large institutional partners. * Preferred interest in education, edtech, STEM, technology, or social impactful learning initiatives. * Shown success in navigating sophisticated partner ecosystems, demonstrating influence, negotiation, and trust-building skills at senior levels. * Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, including market sizing, opportunity assessment, financial modeling, and revenue growth planning. * Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, while driving clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes. * Effective communication abilities with the capacity to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, academy, legal, operations). * High degree of commercial awareness, resilience, self-direction, and ownership mentality. * Excellent proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Word and Power-point. * Ability and willingness to travel when required (approx. 10-20% domestically and to Denmark on occasion). Acting as a bridge between LEGO Education and key partners, you'll translate ambitions into meaningful programs, driving strategic business development. LI-SK1 LI-Hybrid Compensation The salary for this position has a range of $150,921.00 - $226,381.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law.
