Not a remote position We are looking for a compassionate and driven Health Plan Specialist (HPS) to join our team! The ideal candidate will be passionate about serving seniors and improving their quality of life through Medicare plan options. In this full-time position, you will help Medicare beneficiaries navigate their healthcare needs and make informed decisions about their coverage. Your role will focus on engaging with clients via inbound and outbound calls, as well as in person appointments assisting with enrollments in Medicare Advantage (MAPD), Prescription Drug Plans (PDP), and Medicare Supplement plans. As an HPS, you will work closely with the team to grow the company's client base and actively contribute to member retention initiatives. Continuous training and certification on all health plans are required. Key Responsibilities: * Handle inbound calls from prospective members to discuss Medicare plan options. * Prequalify prospects to assess eligibility and readiness for enrollment. * Input data into the CRM system and prioritize inbound leads. * Conduct needs analysis during calls to match prospects with the right Medicare Advantage, PDP, or Medicare Supplement plans. * Ensure accurate and up-to-date records in CRM for each member interaction. * Use an approved plan benefit comparison during appointments and sales presentations. * Return calls to prospects and members within 24 hours. * Engage in telephonic enrollments for MAPD, PDP, and Medicare Supplement products. * Provide quotes, benefits, and services information to prospects. * Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets based on performance. * Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and State sales regulations. * Conduct welcome calls to new members and provide excellent customer service. * Assist in tracking the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. * Participate in special weekend projects for member retention and engagement. * Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: * Active Life & Health Insurance license. * Completion of health plan certifications and testing within 30 days of employment. * At least 1 year of inbound sales experience, preferably in healthcare or Medicare-related fields. * Strong background in customer service. * College education preferred, but not required. * Positive attitude and strong work ethic. * Ability to work weekends as needed in a fast-paced environment. * Experience with needs analysis and qualification processes is a plus.
