Exterior Sign Sales Executive Husk Signs - Evansville, IN We're growing - Husk Signs has expanded its facilities. Come join our work family! Husk Signs is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. Job responsibilities, skills and qualifications are listed below. Daily activities include visiting businesses in the Tri-State area to identify exterior sign needs. This may include meeting with the end buyer or working thru sign wholesale businesses throughout the Midwest. Husk Signs is looking for a team member who enjoys goal setting, establishing priorities, managing their own work schedule, networking and developing relationships. We offer flexible schedules, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm. The Husk Signs Sales Executive is responsible for meeting with potential customers to understand their needs. This could include a variety of sign solutions such as digital electronic messaging centers, channel letters, monument signs, digital billboards, etc. The most successful team members are fearless, driven and competitive. They have a systematic or are able to develop a regular routine for prospecting and following up with potential customers. They will ask good questions and make sure they have a solid depth of the problem before offering consultative solutions. Primary responsibilities:

  • Network with a variety of centers of influences to develop sources for potential customer referrals (this will include real estate agents, business developers, commercial bankers, architects, property managers non-profit organizations and a other business owners).
  • Conduct site visits and collect photos of the outside of the building to bring back to the design and project management team for sign renderings and proposals.
  • Ask relevant questions to better understand the customer needs prior to presenting final solutions.
  • Work with our team to present the customer with a comprehensive solution to their sign needs which will include potential renderings of the concept, cost and other expenses or steps involved in the installation process.
  • Secure signed documents, paperwork and deposits to collaborate with the project management, production and installation teams to ensure the fulfillment of the customer sign with minimal roadblocks.
  • Stay up to date on industry and competitor trends in order to relate best to customer needs and position ourselves to close a higher rate of new business.
  • Travel periodically throughout each week to develop new contacts and follow up with other opportunities.
  • Meet with leadership periodically to review sales pipeline and discuss strategies for growing and effectiveness. Minimum
Requirements

:

  • Enthusiasm, passion, positive attitude and pride in your work.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with US measuring standards.
  • Good oral communication skills and ability to show a high level of professionalism and trustworthiness.
  • Recognize the need to show a high sense of urgency and initiative daily.
  • Self-motivated and prior experience with B2B sales and customer relationships preferred.
  • Desire to learn, follow instructions and treat other team members with respect Previous experience selling signs, advertising, marketing, creative or design concepts will be a plus.
