Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Producer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business by identifying and pursuing potential clients, while also managing existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong outside sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of insurance products. This position requires a proactive approach to sales and customer service, with the goal of meeting client needs and achieving company objectives. Duties * Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. * Conduct thorough needs analysis for clients to recommend appropriate insurance products. * Engage in outside sales activities, including networking, telemarketing, and attending industry events. * Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to close deals effectively. * Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities through efficient sales administration. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly. * Collaborate with marketing teams to promote insurance products and services effectively. * Stay informed about industry trends, regulations (including HIPAA), and competitor offerings to enhance sales strategies. * Utilize analysis skills to assess market conditions and identify opportunities for growth. Qualifications * Proven experience in insurance sales or related fields such as retail sales or outside sales. * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-making processes. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. * Familiarity with benefits administration and telemarketing practices is a plus. * Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to meeting client needs effectively. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. * A valid insurance license is required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe upon hiring.
