Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales and Service Business Development Consultant (BDC) to join Jack Burford Chevrolet, INC. This position is responsible for generating and managing both service appointments and sales leads while providing an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and eager to help grow our dealership's customer base and retention. Key Responsibilities Sales BDC Responsibilities * Handle all inbound sales inquiries via phone, web leads, and chat with professionalism and enthusiasm. * Make outbound follow-up calls to potential and existing customers to schedule appointments with the sales team. * Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM database by logging all customer communications and appointments. * Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs and appointment conversions. * Follow up with unsold showroom traffic, internet leads, and previous customers to generate new opportunities. * Assist with special marketing campaigns, sales events, and outreach initiatives. Service BDC Responsibilities * Handle inbound service calls, schedule appointments, and verify customer and vehicle information. * Proactively contact customers for maintenance reminders, recalls, and recommended services. * Support service advisors by confirming upcoming appointments and ensuring the service lane operates efficiently. * Follow up with customers after service visits to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. * Assist in building the service department's appointment volume through consistent outbound efforts. General & Administrative * Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly goals for appointments, shows, and conversions. * Deliver a high level of professionalism in every customer interaction. * Support dealership marketing efforts by managing email campaigns, text outreach, and social media follow-ups. * Collaborate across departments to enhance customer communication and retention. Performance Goals * Increase service appointment volume and retention. * Improve sales lead conversion and appointment show rates. * Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions. * Enhance overall dealership customer satisfaction scores. Compensation: This position offers a base hourly wage supplemented by commission opportunities tied to individual and department performance metrics, including sales leads generated, service appointments completed, and customer satisfaction results.
